What preparation is needed before starting floor tiling?

Before tiling your floor, strip out wall and floor coverings. We can remove existing floor coverings with an additional cost if specified. Note: We don't strip off existing wall tiles to avoid unpredictable outcomes, such as plaster damage.

Can you remove existing floor tiles?

Yes, we can remove floor tiles and prepare for new tiles or underfloor heating.

What types of floors can you tile onto?

We can tile on various floor surfaces, including Floorboards, Asphalt floors, Screeded, or Concrete Floors. Preparation work varies, and costs depend on the surface type.

Do you have recommended suppliers for floor tiles?

We work with quality suppliers in the region and can recommend a suitable supplier near you. Give us a call for more information.

Do you service the whole of Lancashire?

We cover all of Lancashire and are happy to travel and install anywhere in the Lancashire county.

Do you do floor tile repairs?

We can do certain types of repairs if required, if the repair is over an Electric Underfloor Heating Installation, the chances of damaging the Heat Elements during removal would make this impossible without further damage to the heating cables underneath. We won't carry out this type of work due to this risk.

Do you do underfloor heating?

Yes, we install all kinds of Underfloor Heating, including Water "WetSystem" and Electric Underfloor Heating. We're experts in fitting these systems, and we can tailor them to your home and needs.

Yes, we have complete public liability insurance. We also take care to protect your property from dust and damage while we work.

Do you Guarantee your work?

Yes, we fully guarantee all our work once it's done. We use only high-quality materials from respected suppliers like Ardex, Tilemaster Adhesives, and Kerakoll, among others. These materials come with a manufacturer's warranty and full technical support. If needed, we can provide a detailed list of products used specifically for your project.

Do you ask for a deposit?

Small jobs don't require deposits. You pay in full when the job is done. For bigger projects, you make payments at different stages. These stages are agreed upon and approved by you.
